Low Noise

Quiet operation at 80 decibels on average is less than that of a power lawn mower.

Rubber transmission mounts absorb mechanical shocks to reduce noise.

Efficient

It delivers outstanding cutting performance on even the hardest woods while keeping power consumption low. Rotor discs are manufactured from high quality steel for smooth running and maximum cutting performance. Knives are stagger mounted to ensure that they engage the wood with maximum cutting force for a uniform shearing action across the width of the rotor. Knives are made of tempered tool steel for ruggedness and durability, circular to provide maximum cutting surface, indexable by 180°, and reversible for 4 times the service life of a fixed blade cutter. Knife holders are separate from the disc and are individually replaceable for quick and economical repair. The anvil is made of tempered tool steel and has precision ground, sickle shaped blades matched to the knives for optimum shearing action with low power consumption. The factory programmed “Programmable Logic Control” (PLC) continually monitors machine operation and recognizes malfunctions as they occur.

PLC also controls auxiliary devices such as chip evacuators or exhaust systems.
